For 1973-1980 Models:

- Kneel and look up under the dashboard, directly above the hood release handle and left of the steering column.
- Locate the rectangular, usually black, plastic fuse box cover mounted vertically.
- Press the plastic clips or tabs on the sides/top and bottom to release the cover.
For 1981-1987 Models:
- Open the driver's side door.
- Look down and towards the center of the cab floor near the parking brake pedal assembly.
- Locate the rectangular, black plastic fuse box cover mounted horizontally on the cab's lower kick panel.
- Press the plastic clip or tab on the front edge to release the cover.
Secondary Fuse Block (Common on all years in this range):
A secondary fusible link/fuse block may be located against the firewall in the engine compartment. Look near the brake master cylinder/booster assembly for a small black box with wires.
